4F2

The 4F2 is a thermal break curtain wall that can be applied to a load-bearing substructure, allowing for freedom in the design of the elevation of the façade.

The 4F2 is a system for thermal break add-on glass façades of large dimensions, with the possibility of utilizing and combining different materials on the interior and exterior such as steel, stainless steel, corten, brass, and wood.

The use of mullions and transoms of great inertia and reduced size allows for the construction of façades with large glass surfaces, leaving the designer maximum freedom to configure the design of the elevation and their structure.

This curtain wall system, with its complete range of profiles and gaskets, offers tailor-made solutions for high-performing glass structures of any type and thickness. The covers, with a visual footprint reduced to 50 mm, give the façade qualities of elegance and lightness and allowing for the glass and light to dominate.

The performance of the 4F2 system has been tested by the best European certification laboratories according to the standard En 1383 regulations.

System and Performance
The 4F2 is a system for thermal break add-in curtain walls that can be applied by means of special profiles and gaskets to any welded beam (classical IPE, HEA in steel or stainless steel) or wooden girder, guaranteeing the same high-performance characteristics.

Watertightness is ensured by a system of EPDM gaskets and profiles with gutter channels for the run-off of any seepage. The system allows for the insertion of glazing up to 50 mm thick, inserted from the front and secured to mullions and transoms by a stainless steel external cover pre-drilled for the application of screws.

wind resistance - allowed load ± 2,0 kN/m2
wind resistance - increased load ± 3,0 kN/m2
impact resistance I5 / E5
water tightness – static RE 900
water tightness – dynamic 250 Pa/750 Pa
air permeability AE
under reference standard EN 13830
